SKELETON HANGED
MAN
The sight of a skeleton hanging from your favorite
tree or from a beam on Halloween (or if you're like us all year long) is a very creepy
sight indeed. But tying an authentic Hangman's noose is one of those elusive techniques
that seems to be forgotten shortly after learning how it's done. After all, how often do
most people tie a Hangman's noose?
The
instructions for tying the Hangman's Knot are pictured on the right. The hangman's noose
requires a lot more rope than you might think.
We prefer to use 1/2" or 5/8"
rope, that is at least 16 feet long. This will give you a noose rope
about six feet long. Thick hemp type rope can usually be bought at your
local hardware store by the foot.
This noose is the real
thing! We CAN NOT stress this enough!! Never put it over a living persons head and never play hangman. Do not leave
where children can access it. It can and has killed people. If you are not a responsible
adult, do not make or use a hangman's noose! If you're not sure if you are a responsible
adult, do not make or use a hangman's
noose! This is not a toy!!! We can not stress this enough!! Halloween Online excepts no responsibility for irresponsible or misuse of this
prop.
